Businiess name:  Fry's Electronics

Review content:
My husband and father absolutely LOVE Fry's Electronics. They could spend hours in the place and since it seems to be like a Disneyland for me, my mom and I always tag along to "supervise" and make sure they don't get too out of control! This store is HUGE and they have absolutely every "electronics" item you can possibly think of and a few other things, as well. It is well laid out into clearly labeled sections. They have everything you could ever need for your current computer (from hardware to software as well as accessories and how to books). They also have a wide variety of computers, laptops, and monitors to choose from. They have a huge selection of DVDs and CDs. They also have a wide variety of books including "how to" books and travel books. They have some kids toys, but during the holidays, I find that the selection is much better. They have large appliances such as washers, dryers, and refrigerators. They also have car stereos and everything you would need to put together your own home theater. My mom and I love to browse through the "small appliances" section. This is basically kitchen appliances and they always have something fun and new that I have never seen before. They also have things like scales (both kitchen and bathroom) and alarm clocks in this area. The knowledge base of the employees is hit or miss, though, especially compared to other electronics stores that I have been to. At Christmas time, I was looking for a bluetooth item for my husband and he had written down the information for me. I had to ask several different employees about it before someone could point me in the right direction and even once I got there, I was told that they didn't carry the product. After doing some browsing on my own, I was able to find it. Their sale ads are very good, and my husband and I have gotten some very good deals on things that we have found in the ads. They used to have really good everyday prices, too, but my husband and I have noticed lately that the prices are not as good if things are not on sale. For example, we recently bought a new digital camera and it was about $20 cheaper at Best Buy than it was at Fry's. My favorite part of Fry's is the huge selection of candy at the checkout area. They literally have rows and rows of it and they have every kind of candy you can imagine! There is always something I have never heard of and something new and different to try. There are somewhere around 25 checkout lines and there is an employee who will direct you to the next one that is open. Even though the lines get long, you usually get through pretty quickly, even during the holidays. Parking is another story! On a "regular" day it can be nearly impossible to find a parking space and on the weekends or during the holiday season, you can pretty much plan on driving around for awhile before you find something. If you haven't been to Fry's before, it's worth the drive, especially if you see something you like in the weekly ad!
