Review content:
Well as far as hookah places go, this would probably be among the best for that. Definetly beats Ranoush hands down. I dont understand why it took so long to have a place like this in Houston.
It has a nice atmosphere and the crowd is interesting. Food is ok and could be better ( can't say it's real authentic middle eastern, for that I recommend Dimassi's which is also on Richmond) but the prices are not too expensive.
My main issue with the place is service. It takes way too long for the servers to come and attend to your needs at times and that happens even when the place is not too busy. And once you get served they rarely come back and check on you like they are supposed to, at times I have to get up and ask for some service! That really bothers me and for people who rely on tips is kinda strange! But until somone comes up with a better hookah place it will have to be Layal for now.
I have not tried the live entertainment, but I think i will just to see what it's like.
Overall I would recommend trying it at least once.
Pros: Ambience, crowd, music
Cons: Service
