One of my best Thanksgivings was coming to the Hyatt in sort of spur of the moment solution for my husband and I not miss out on any Thanksgiving.
We called the Hyatt restaurant which was holding its annual Turkey dinner buffet. I asked the man on the phone if he could fit my husband and I in for Turkey day. He said he'd figure it out, so come on down.
We got there the place was packed, busy, but he fit us in and we had a great time.
Then went to Capitol Park across the street for a nice walk. And fed the squirrels their Thanksgiving dinner too -- nuts.
