Review content:
This is my original review:\r
You would absolutely think your dogs were in good hands. My husband witnessed a 9 year employee kicking a non-agressive, not misbehaving dog first thing in the morning. Mortified he asked what the hell he was doing. The response he got was that ""sometimes you have to take charge."" NO ... this dog wasn't jumping, biting, acting out ... there is NEVER a time you should kick a dog in the head. I will NEVER take my dogs there again, and if you are a true animal lover who treats your dog like family, you won't either. So so disappointing. (I only select 1 because you have to select something ... In reality ... - 100).\r

This is Caryl's reply:\r
4/13/2016 Jeanne, after years of devout dedication to animal care, it's incredibly jarring to know that someone would make these false accusations against our resort. Every single member of our staff is passionate about the well-being of our dogs, and we do everything we can to foster a welcoming environment for these pups. One thing that stands out to me in this review is that you mention the tenure of our employee -- if that person didn't absolutely love animals, they would not be in this industry for 9 years. Just to reaffirm this and to ensure the safety of our animals, we've reviewed all of our surveillance videos and the only thing we saw was proper, loving care for our guests.\r
We care for animals because they are our everything, and we want to give them the pampering they deserve. If you spoke with any of our employees, you would understand that. What you've described is unthinkable for our resort, and I truly hope that you and your husband will reconsider claiming such falsehoods.\r

This is my updated review in response:\r
4/14/16 - Maybe you believe the way you run things ""proper and loving"" but I -- as a consumer and lover of animals large and small -- would not entrust a pet to your care based on what my husband witnessed. Your employee made it a point to tell my husband how long he'd been there and stated ""sometimes you just have to take charge"". Any animal lover would expect a tenured staff at an animal facility of any kind to be professional and loving to their pets - not kicking, forcefully pushing, and spraying water on dog to get them thru a hole. It is not an accusation, it is an experience - and one that you have chosen to respond to in the same manner of every other bad review given ... it's us, not you.\r
I invite you to provide the surveillance video that shows my husband ""simply being startled by a dog jumping on a fence & dog barking"" (as you told me via phone was the reason my husband was upset).\r
With so many BAD reviews over so many forums, I find it absurd that you find ""what (i've) described is unthinkable for (y)our resort"".
