First steps is a top rate center. My son was here for 2 years and my infant daughter is about to start here. \r
The staff is wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable about infants and toddlers. They are nurturing and caring and pay attention to the development needs of the child, often identifying needs before the parents. They also have incredibly low turnover in staff which is so important for toddlers! \r
The director is smart and no-nonsense. She is a parent coach as well and will sometimes need to guide parents with her 35 years of experience and there are times when new moms need guidance. She has an amazing heart and loves and knows all the babies as if they were her own grandchildren. (In fact both of her grandchildren attended the center!)\r
My son thrived here and in fact when he got to pre-school his development was far beyond some of his peers who had come from other centers or had been at home. I'd highly recommend this center to anyone.
