I was told by the groomer who took my dogs in talked like she knew what my breed was supposed to look like. What was a Wire Fox Terrier was groomed like a Miniature Schnauzer. I was getting them groomed because I was having minor back surgery the next day. I was terribly disappointed with the grooming, but did not have time to voice my concerns as the grooming salon part of the store was closing. The groomer that checked the dogs in was not there. My previous grooming experience was not much better - the "groomer" had to bathe and groom 26 animals by herself that day! After the most recent grooming experience, I went in to talk to the groomer about it. Long story short: She got more defensive as the conversation progressed, and said she'd have to charge me again (2 weeks after the grooming fiasco) the full price of $120.00 for 2 dogs. I spend good money at that store, as that is where I buy my dog food, I always pay in cash, almost $40 a month for a 15-lb sack of Hund-N-Flocke
