Swiss air did a house call to inspect my mother-in-law's furnace claiming they specialized in old furnaces. After a quick visual they told her the furnace was too old and they wouldn't touch it, then proceeded to charge her $89 for the trouble. It's businesses like these that give the industry a bad reputation, preying on those too meek to stand up for themselves. Disgusting.
RESPONSE FROM Swiss Heating & Air:
Swiss Air did reach out to the family member and fully refunded the $89 diagnostic fee under the 100 money back satisfaction guarantee policy. We are constantly training the technicians to slow down and properly communicate with the homeowner.
