Review content:
Let me start out by saying that this is the BEST salon experience I have ever had and NELIDA is without a doubt the most talented and experienced colorist I have encountered.\r \r BACK STORY:\r After dyeing my hair with the same shade/brand of box color (light golden blonde) for the past 2 years, I decided to go a shade warmer to what I thought would be a strawberry blonde. DISASTER- It turned out fire engine red on top and ash brownish everywhere else.\r \r In a mad panic, I dumped more box color on it to try to fix it. (stupid I know) This only made the color worse and fried my hair.\r \r MY EXPERIENCE:\r I made a desperate call to Tricoci color correction. Miraculously they were able to take me later that evening. The receptionist on the phone assured me that Nelida could make it all better and she couldn't have been more right.\r \r I was so embarrassed to be going to a high-end salon looking like such a hot mess. (I'm fresh out of college with no money so I thought I'd feel out of place at a fancy salon regardless.) But when I arrived, every staff member I encountered treated me with so much RESPECT without a hint of judgement.\r \r Nelida treated me with all the WARMTH & EMPATHY of a close friend and made it clear that she was not only going to fix my color but also achieve the shade I had wanted to begin with. She asked me methodical questions about what had happened without making me feel stupid and told me exactly what she was going to do to fix the problem. (Keeping in mind that my hair was in a fragile state from the chemicals I'd used)\r \r Even though I was squeezed into her busy schedule, she never once made me feel like I was monopolizing her time. She said, ""Don't worry, we will be here til midnight if we need to. You're going to look great!""\r \r Nelida even empathized with my need to save money and explained several ways in which I can continue coloring my hair at Tricoci that would fit within my tight budget.\r \r End product: The color was EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED ALL ALONG. I couldn't believe it- I couldn't even see the signs of damage that I had expected.\r \r END THOUGHTS:\r I can't think of a customer service experience in which I encountered a better marriage of talent, warmth, professionalism, and dedication. Each member of the staff- especially Nelida and manager, Eric Demadara made my terrible mistake into an incredibly positive experience.
