Review content:
The Charles Theatre is a great place to go to catch the latest limited release or independent film. I remember going to The Charles to see Amelie when it first came out; the theater was absolutely packed! There are a few screens at this theater, but be warned-- each theater is really small and steep. The atmosphere is very urban chic, and last time I visited, they had a full-service espresso bar so you could sip on a latte during the flick. They also run monthly movie discussion screenings, and occasionally have bagels and a movie weekends. It's a great change from the mega theaters of the suburbs.
