Review content:
My family and I have been going to see Dr. Putney for 5 years, and he is an excellent doctor. He actually cares for his patients and what is going on in their lives. He has always been very responsive and attentive when there is an illness. He takes a whole health approach to treatment. He even calls personally when there is a major issue or he needs to discuss test results, instead of leaving that to his nurse. Which leads me to my only reservation about the practice-his nurse. She has a very poor bedside manner and is just plain rude at times. Almost as if you are bothering her or being a nuisance when you call about an issue-whether it is a prescription refill or any other question. She talks at you, not to you. Recently, I have found myself hesitating to make an appointment with him, or even call, because I do not want to have to deal with her poor attitude on top of being sick. So, a great doctor, no fantastic doctor, who's nurse tarnishes his reputation a little bit.
