Review content:
In 2001 when we started going to Red Oak it was because after two years of seaching we finally found the right Dr. The first couple of months were fine though we had long wait times (in excess of 60 mins) but nothing I hadn't experienced everywhere else. Then our Dr's admin. helper decided she needed to stay home with her new baby and from that day on we have had nothing but inept, careless, rude and very unprofessional treatment. This applies to very one from the person who hides behind the glass at the checkin desk, to Karen the office manager. We stay because the Dr. is the best choice we have for now and I can't risk my child's receiving the best care I can provide just because the office staff is terrible. When I told Sharon in scheduling that I hoped she would have the same experience I was having the next time she had to be the patient at her dr's office she replied with I'd be very happy with the same level of service. Just how far away have we come that we are ok paying what we pay for health care and receiving NO customer service? Isn't it a shame we have to ""overlook"" the office staff. I tell the doctor we see almost everytime how terrible the staff is and he has said ""Yes, I know I hear it all the time"" but yet he's still with the practice? So we will continue to put up with their horrible treatment until we find another Dr. However if you are reading this and trying to decide whether or not to use Red Oak? I'd recommend you find another office to patronize because this one definetly does not deserve your business!
Pros: The Dr. we see is obviously good or we wouldn't go back
Cons: but the office staff is by far the worst ever!
