I found out my 14 year old doxie had lymphoma the day I moved to Kodiak and I was terrified of not being able to get him the proper care he needed. When I got to Kodiak, I was pleased to find they offered very up to date care, including many different options for chemotherapy. I dealt primarily with Dr. Angie and found her to be so caring and she answered all of my questions and concerns. My dog was initially given 6-9 months (IF he was treated with chemo) to live and he is still kickin' 15 months later. Dr. Angie even sent his file to a renowned university veterinary program to get additional ideas for how to treat him since his case was not typical. \r
I will say that they are expensive, but everything is here. An emergency call will cost 2 or 3 hundred dollars (I can't remember) just to get the vet to the office to see your pet on a Saturday or Sunday (they are closed on Saturday?!)
