Amazing experience at Lake Mary Dental. Hadn't been to the dentist in a while and was referred to this office by a friend. I had lost a filling near a front tooth and knew it was time to take action. Knew I probably needed a root canal soon. I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Du Lac to see what needed to be done. Upon entering the office the receptionist knew my name and within ten minutes I was escorted by dental assistant Jessica who explained step by step what would take place during the consult. Jessica took digital pictures of my entire mouth. This office uses state of the art digital x-rays, no cardboard cutouts. Jessica was awesome. After reviewing my x-rays, Dr. Du Lac introduced herself and went over the plan of action. Yes, I needed a root canal and I was envisioning big needles and pain. Dr. Du Lac explained no needles, ""we use a wand"" to numb the tooth. I was so relieved. Before my root canal I needed a thorough cleaning. Went for my cleaning and was introduced to my hygienist, Terry . He explained exactly what would take place during the cleaning and offered this numbing gel in case I had any sensitive areas. i took the gel and my teeth were clean and no pain. Two weeks later I had my root canal. Dr. Du Lac was awesome. No needles, no pain, and she paused along the way to make sure I was doing okay. She works to soothing music that would relax anyone and tells you exactly what she is doing. After the root canal, she checked everything and had my temporary cap ready to go. I couldn't believe how great my tooth looked and no pain during the whole procedure. Two weeks later I received my permanent cap which Dental assistant Michael prepared. He was awesome as well. Dr. Du Lace checked on the fit and I had my new tooth that fits perfect and looks like my natural tooth. Please, if you read this review and have any dental issues, go see Dr. Du Lac and get the best dental experience ever. She is not only an extraordinary dentist, but a kind, compassionate human being who is committed to excellence. \r
