I was really excited to try this place after a friend recommended it, but wow was it horrible! I ordered a small margarita and vegetarian option A which included a tostada, bean burrito, and cheese enchilada. The food arrived very quickly, but maybe they should have taken more time to prepare it. My plate was basically a big soupy mess. Everything was covered in nasty enchilada sauce that tasted like Chef Boyardee spaghetti sauce, and the beans had run all over everything as well. There was no spice or good flavor at all! Even the salsa, which was free with chips, tasted like it came from a can--it was basically like watery tomato sauce. I tried to at least stomach the enchilada but couldn't even get that down, as it was just too saturated in greasy sauce and beans. My Amy's Organic frozen enchilada meal I had for lunch this week was way better than my meal at El Loro! \r The margarita tasted like it came straight out of one of those bottled mixes you can get at any store, and they don't even offer different flavors or the option of blended vs. on the rocks. Maybe I'm spoiled by the great food and margaritas that places like Bar Abilene offer? Either way, I will not be back to El Loro. If you like cheap, fast, bland food that tastes like it came right from can, than this is the place for you. Pros: Fast Cons: bad margaritas, worse food
