Review content:
All in all, I have always had a decent experience at Ginbu. It is a nice local (pretty small for restaurant standards) on Providence in Myers Park. I order lunch from here quite often and always the products are very fresh and consistent. As for sushi, I have never had a bad piece here, the only concern I have is that the rolls are quite small in comparison to Nikko or Room 112, which I dine at quite often. The prices are great for lunch, but for sushi, they tend to be kind of high for the small rolls.
For a nice get-a-way from the ""popular"" sushi place here's your spot. Typically its a fairly quick dinner, but last evening I had gone with two friends and it seemed to have taken forever to get our sushi and there were only two other tables filled in the place. No explanation, no offer that our food was on it's way, just silence. Other than the staff needing to work better on communication with the patrons everything else was alright.
Pros: Good Lunch Specials, Freshness, Location
Cons: Size
