This is by far the worst experiece I have had with a car dealer. First we were called in response to an internet credit app we completed. When we drove 60 miles to get to this place, I was under the impression this was a finance or loan company - not a car lot. We only wanted a <10K used car for our 18-yr old son. On arrival to this car lot, I noticed these were all 07-08 cars on the lot (though no one would confirm this) We told the salesman what our price limit was. We were kept there most of a day and sent home after downpayment was collected. No one would tell us how much any of the cars were-so we went home, not knowing year models or prices. No one offered a test drive. We went online and found price lists from the website along with blue book values. We returned the following day to be told that the bank would set the price, we would not get to choose our vehicle-because of our credit issues--this was announced publicly and we were beckoned to sit down and wait some more. My husband insisted on getting some kind of ballpark price on one of the cars-just so we'd know if this was worth waiting for, or if we should go somewhere else-We were told in so many words that because of our credit status, this is the way it is, and we could leave if we wanted to. We did leave--went down the road where a nice salesman quoted us prices up front and let us test drive whatever we wanted-and by the way, sold us a suitable car. I am still shaken up by the "pressure" sales and insulting manipulation we endured at Team Certified Auto Group. Pros: Salesman Mike at least tried to be nice and incorporate humor Cons: Sales Mgr extremely disrespectful.
