Review content:
This sushi was simply not good. Many of the pieces had a grainy texture and some pieces had a fishy oder before even making it near my mouth which is a tell-tale sign of bad sushi. The hotate in particular was horrible, cut poorly, and tasted as if it had been frozen and then thawed. The california roll had crab that was odd and had mystery ingredients. \r
\r
Wait staff was marginal for the price point and the food itself was overpriced for what any part of this restaurant experience had to offer. For a little more $, you could have a five star experience at Uchi that is truly memorable and delicious.\r
\r
You will not like this location if you are a true sushi eater. You might like it if: 1) you want a downtown, stereotypical bar scene feel; 2) you want to spend to much money to ""feel"" like you are in a trendy restaurant; and/or 3) you do not like sushi or raw things but you want to say you went to a ""sushi"" restaurant.
