Regattabar is the only venue in Boston to catch the best jazz in the world. It's right in Harvard Square and it has a lovely ambiance. I've lived in Boston for 4 years and I'm an avid lover of jazz, especially the contemporary scene. The best bands, including the Dave Holland quintet, Dave Douglas, Kenny Garrett, Mark Turner, Chris Potter, etc. all come through Regattabar every year. This is their only stop in Boston. So check their website, and don't miss the opportunity to see jazz at its finest. Unfortunately, if you like this kind of music, this is the only place to hear it Pros: Simply the best jazz in Boston Cons: hard to hear in the very back
