This place is a slum and it will literally ruin your life to live here. I have lived here and fought diligently for three years but am now close to the streets and homelessness due to all the money I am losing due to them. Due to embezzling and messing up of paperwork they lost all of our payments and continuously try to re-claim extra payments from us. Monthly we have to prove we made them. They charged us for our neighbors water for over a year and never reimbursed us. The pool has not been open for three years. There are cockroaches and bedbugs in almost every building and the air condition is out in over half of the apartments on site. We lost our AC for six days in 100 degree weather and my mothers dog died before they even bothered to come look at the AC. The fact that we had a 91 year old in the house didn't even encourage them to look at it before six days.
Our building has bedbugs and cockroaches so we begged them to fumigate the entire building before it hit our apartment. I have a 91 year old grandmother so cannot just move out. Then, we suspected we got them and asked them to check our apartment. They would not. Finally we called and got it inspected ourselves. The infestation is so bad that we have to throw away over $10,000 of our belongings. My mom now sleeps on the floor, my grandmother has to sleep in a chair and because I am allergic I have to sleep from friend to friends house.
The day we discovered the bugs the office hands us a paper that once again says we owe them mysteriously over $2000 even though we have never missed a payment for rent and always pay our bills. When my mom went to settle that she was informed that our lease was destroyed and that we HAVE to sign a new one by Thursday. She said we are giving a notice for sixty days and don't want to sign a new 12 month lease just because they destroyed it. (They had already lost two previously so this is a third lease they have lost). They said we have to sign it by Thursday or they will kick my disabled mother, my 91 year grandmother who is on hospice and I out on the streets ASAP. Bedbugs and all. They also said anything we leave behind or in front of the apartment they will charge us for.
There are so many other things wrong I can't even tell you and I have pictures to prove most but I've already written to much. If you move in...you sure must like hell. Oh yea, we have also been robbed six times. I got to go through the humiliation of being accused the first time before they found the culprit.
At least I don't have rattlesnakes coming in and out of the holes in the outside walls like several of my neighbors do.
