I moved to Chapel Hill in July 2007 and didn't know where anything was. I bought a dress in a shop two hours away for the military ball and it needed to be took in 2 sizes, (this was the last dress and I had to have it) so I bagan looking through the phone book. Amy's Alterations was the first place I came across and it was close to home so I took a chance. I took the dress to her and explained what needed to be done and to my surprise she said, ""No problem"". The dress was finished in just over a week and I couldn't even tell that it had been altered. She even stitched the bead work back perfectly around the bust just as it came!! I couldn't have asked for better and at just over fifty dollars, It was well worth it!! I will be visiting her often with my slacks to be hemed!!
Pros: Fast service, Knowledge of job.
