Businiess name:  Le Cirque 2000

Review content:
Whilst nothing about Le Cirque was substandard in any way, I couldn't help leaving with a little sense of disappointment. The service was friendly & informative, the food nicely presented and pleasant, the atmosphere busy but unobtrusive. However, when you are visiting what is supposedly one of the finest restaurants in the city, you expect more than just good. The biggest let down was not the expense (I expected it to be pricey), but witnessing the owner (identity confirmed by the numerous photos & portraits of himself plastered over the walls), mercilessly berating a group of terrified junior waiters on my way to the restrooms. Discipline in the kitchen is fine, but not when delivered in public view - it certainly impressed no-one if that was the intention.
