About a month ago, my Dell laptop gave me the ultimate blue screen of death. I am totally clueless when it comes to computers so I knew I had to take it somewhere before I got too frustrated and threw it out the window or something. I remembered seeing the sign for Progressive Tech on my daily drive down Roosevelt from work so that was the first place I thought of for repairing my sick laptop. Well, let me tell you, I will not take my computer anywhere else now. I was told the day I took it in that I needed a new hard-drive and the following day, the work was complete! They were super fast and super friendly and even gave me a deal on re-installing the operating system as well as a 30 day free trial for the antivirus software they recommend. Lawrence was the tech I worked with and he was super nice and was very patient with me and my limited computer knowledge. Best of all, my computer worked perfectly and 100 times better than when I took it into the shop.\r

Now, fast forward 40 days to me turning on my computer one day and the operating system wouldn't boot up. I was pretty bummed my computer wasn't working again and took it back to Progressive Tech. I walked in and Lawrence recognized me right away and immediately took my computer to the back to see what was wrong with it. It turns out that I inadvertantly copied the contents of my external hard drive to my computer hard drive and maxed it out! Whoops! Long story short, Lawrence ended up having to uninstall and re-install my operating system to bring my computer back to life. Best of all, he did it free of charge, even though the 30 day warranty on the previous work that was done was technically up. I am totally impressed with the awesome service I received from Lawrence and everyone else I talked to at Progressive Tech. I would recommend this computer repair business to anyone with computer problems and I will definitely be returning if I ever have any again. Thank you so much Progressive Tech (especially Lawrence)!! You guys rock!
