I never write reviews (and at the risk of sharing the best kept secret for hair color in Manhattan), I am writing to say that after years of trying some of the best salons on both coasts -- I finally have the very natural blonde I always wanted to be at Ruby 6 with the talented owner, Lisa. \r

I have always had dry, semi-curly hair that just doesn't ever take color or highlighting the way hairstylists have intended -- and certainly doesn't hold it. Blonde always ended up brassy and monochromatic for me, and I lived with it because I didn't think it could be better after years of trying. Lisa takes the time to give an accurate assessment of any issues she sees, and then will put her all into it. I'm never rushed, she takes the time to do what's right for my hair. And to my amazement, it LASTS -- color looks just as good down the road as the day I leave the salon -- a very natural, subtly blended blonde that fits my features and doesn't wash me out. I can go longer between touch-ups b/c the contrast is no longer so stark when my roots grow in -- a big plus!\r
