Review content:
We are a family of four and live 5 blocks from the bowlng alley. We walked down there with another family of four and took the kids bowling on a Sunday evening. When we got there we were surprised that it wasn't crowded and we were able to get two lanes side by side, one for kids one for adults. We paid for two games for the adults and one game for the kids (no kid older than 7) We played our first game on the adult lane then the machine shut off and wouldn't allow us the second game. We called up to the desk and told them of the issue. 10 minuites went by and no one came down or called back. We went up to the desk and explained that we had paid for two games and we would like to bowl the other. The manager who had been playing video poker in the lounge up until this point, accused us of lying, then told me I would have to wait until he counted out his entire cash register holdings before he would see if we were entitiled to an extra game. The person who took our money was standing right there telling him we had paid for the extra game, but he still kept on counting. He had one receipt for $19.00 which showed the lane we were bowling on and kept waving it in our face telling us we were wrong. We left the counter without the extra game and without the $7.00. As we left, I made a sarcastic remark saying out loud that I wanted all of our kids to turn in their shoes at the same time for fear of being accused of stealing a pair. The manager took offense and waived another reciept that showed we had paid $26.00 for the other lane the kids were on. (the cashier had made a mistake) He begrudgingly said, ""you can have your $7 back"", as we were leaving. At that point they had already lost customers from their immediate neighborhood for life. Others have had issues with rude staff as well, it's too bad the owners feel the need to employ these types of people. The neighborhood is coming along nicely, I wish the bowling alley would come with us!!!
