Review content:
For years I have been looking for a stylist in the Twin Cities who can sufficiently cut and style Asian hair. I settled on a Juut stylist who I really loved on a personal level, but always left her chair feeling like my hair wasn't quite finished or something. \r \r I came across the Ta's Salon Citysearch profile and after reading the rave reviews, I decided to schedule a haircut and brow wax appointment. I knew what kind of style I was looking for so I brought in two photos on my iPod (free wifi @ the salon!!!). My hair was a bit shorter than that in the photos I brought, but Nikta was quick to explain how she was going to adapt the style to work with my current length. She PAINSTAKINGLY layered and blended my hair - putting so much time and thought into her work that we ran out of time for the brow wax!\r \r I really love my haircut and will definitely be back to see NIkta. I'm really picky about where I get my hair done, but was completely pleased with my time at Ta's Salon. I wasn't pressured to buy any products or additional services, and Ta was very thoughtful and thorough in her explanations about what she was doing to my hair. The cut was $45 and completely worth it - what I paid at Juut even though I was never entirely satisfied with the cuts there...\r \r If you are looking for a stylist that knows thick, pin-straight Asian hair, definitely make an appointment with Nikta!!! She has a lot of Asian clients from a wide array of different ethnic backgrounds and makes a sincere effort to stay up on Asian trends and methods. So happy with this discovery!!! Pros: Friendly, casual, professional, high-quality...
