Businiess name:  Victory's Banner Restaurant

Review content:
I have heard about Victory's Banner for too long from too many people, so I finally made my way over to Roscoe Village to give it a try. Well, it was just excellent in every way. I always include a sample of simple scrambled eggs as a ""test standard."" When do you remember ever saying ""God, these eggs are delicious!""? The waiter explained that VIctory's Banner uses free~range eggs and cook in clarified butter. Everything is cooked fresh. The folks I was with also sampled the pesto-goat cheese omelet, satisfaction-promise (which delivers on its name), and we all shared an order of the ""Award Winning"" French Toast. My declaration BEST FRENCH TOAST IN THE CITY. Coffee is rich, chai is the real thing (not a steamed tea bag). Service was great and friendly. I left happy. It has become my favorite breakfast house. Pros: Food, service, value Cons: sometimes the wait to get in on the weekends can be daunting, but its worth it.
