I have to agree with many previous reviews, Chinois has continue to go downhill over the years. The food is still good but overpriced, and I was amazed at the wine's markup. Expected better service with such a high notoriety restaurant and was disappointed. I noticed majority of the servers milled around the front entry, chitchatting and paying little attention to the customers. When we were seated it was over five minutes before we were acknowleded with a glass of water, although we were near the front, in plain sight of all the chatty servers. It was another 10 minutes before a server barely acknowledge we were there and took our order. The food came at a consistent pace, however, once we were through, it took another 15 minutes to flag the server down for the check. No, we won't be coming back, but they won't miss us.
