Review content:
I can't believe I didn't find this place sooner. I love Greek food and this is definitely the cream of the crop for Greek cuisine. I've been to Greece a few times on vacation, and this is the first time I've been to a place in Houston where the food is as good as the best I've had in Greece. When I went on Friday, they had live Greek music and an attractive belly dancer. I've been during the week after shopping across the street at the Galleria and it was much more low key, a good way to get out of the Galleria crowd. Try the ""saganaki"" which they light on fire at your table. The calamari was also very fresh, light, and crispy. On Friday, I had the lamb chops which were cooked the perfect amount and incredibly tender. The week before I went more traditional with the mousaka and followed it up with the best baklava I've ever had. My girlfriend had the flaky topped sweet custard desert (the name is slightly more difficult to say). All I can say is we'll be back again next week.
Pros: hands down best greek food, welcoming staff, perfect date place, free valet, don't need reservations
Cons: easy to miss going west on hidalgo (one way) from the galleria, turn in before you get to sage
