I just moved here from New York, but to get down here I had to drive my '96 Tahoe. The truck has 250k and I had it serviced before I drove 1,700 miles down here, but I noticed some shifting problems before I left. I just hoped that I would make it okay. The closer I got to Houston the more I noticed my transmission acting up. I knew I had to take it in, but had no idea where since I am new to the area. I called a few shops and took it into to one, but did not like the feel of the shop or their customer service so I left. I ran across A Plus Transmission on my way to work and decided to stop by. I am so glad I did because my car is working like new and the service I received from the young man was superb. I told him what was happening and he explained to me what it could possibly be from but said they would have to take a look at it. Once they looked at it he told me what the issue was and what it would be to fix it. We went over paperwork and he explained everything to me in surprising detail. I was able to get a rental in the interim which allowed me to not miss any days at my new job. I am happy to know a mechanic shop in the area I can trust.
