Review content:
My wife and I ate at Pasha's this evening after reading the reviews, but I don't understand them. I'm a big fan of Middle Eastern food. I've eaten it in many US cities and several foreign ones, so I speak from extensive experience. The food at Pasha's is completely ordinary. We ate baba ghannoush, hummus, falafel, salad and mixed grill. Here's the blow by blow. The baba ghannoush was inferior. It wasn't blended sufficiently, didn't have a smoky flavor and was less than ordinary. My wife liked the hummus, I didn't. It was too dry and just not that tasty. The falafel was a tiny portion of three small balls -- too greasy, but with very tasty tahini sauce. The salad was fresh, but I didn't like the dressing at all (my wife liked it). The mixed grill was two tiny ground chicken hamburger-like patties and two small meat patties, together with rice, a few vegetables and a little bit of sliced onion. The taste was decent only, nothing better. We left totally unsatisfied. It felt like the difference between eating a hamburger at McDonald's vs. a steak house.
