As another reviewer discovered. You have to be lucky enough for everything to go smoothly without a hitch. If there's any problem at all the staff is incapable of doing much about it due to the horrible policies of management.
My wife and I went the night before a record setting blizzard. It was super windy and freezing and miserable. They switched us to a slightly better room but it was still horribly cold and windy. We left early cause we couldn't stand the cold. You would think under those circumstances we'd be given at least a partial refund or a credit to come back later, but we weren't. They have a policy that says once they have your money, they never give it back.
