Review content:
I went to Dr. Nancy Eisen, family practitioner at ADC north for a physical. My new insurance pays for one per year. I had not had a physical in seven years. The doctor knew this. After a person took my vital signs, she came in, we talked for a couple of minutes and she listened to my chest with her stethoscope. At no time did I disrobe (put on a paper gown). She didn't examine my skin, test my reflexes, look in my ears or eyes, or perform neuro checks, or touch me. All the aforementioned are basic to the physical examination. I live alone and no one sees my back so I was particularly concerned that she hadn't examined my biggest organ (skin). I didn't get my money's worth and neither did my insurance. I will insist on another physical from a real physician or take this to the AMA for investigation. And I will not pay an extra penny for it. Ordering a basic lab panel is not a substitute for a physical exam. This woman is incredibly lazy or thinks I am stupid. This ain't over. Now, on to Angie's List, Yelp, and every other site I have access to.
