I read the previous review of Far West Optical. While I know both doctors, it is Dr Barbara Coldiron I have seen for over eleven years now. Being a patient for over eleven years, I just can't imagine that the previous review and I have been to the same Far West Optical. Dr. Coldiron has always given me very thorough eye exams in a timely and gracious manner. I have found her to be a very caring doctor who has even come in on a couple of Sundays when we have eye emergencies in our family. One of those times was very late at night and she still insisted on meeting us instead of sending us to the emergency room. Over the eleven years, I have sent many friends to Far West Optical and Dr. Coldiron. All have thanked me for sending them to such a great doctor.
I have found the staff of Far West Optical, including the ""front desk"" people, to always be courteous on the phone and in person. They order my contacts when I ""oops"" run out and get them for me very quickly. They always ask how we are and make small talk.
I would recommend this eye doctor above any, even if you have to wait an extra fifteen minutes as the past person said. Dr. Coldiron has usually run on time for my visits yet if she were behind, I would wait. She is definitely worth waiting for!
