For a very special occasion, I was escorted for the first time to Moxie's for my birthday. I had the Sea Bass, one of my very favorites and one the many specials they had that evening. My partner had the Veal and I must say both meals were devine. They describe every detail of the preparation and if you would rather have something another way or on the side, they are very flexible and want you to have everything to your taste. Listening to the menu is almost as good as actually eatnig all the food, it all sounds so interesting and delicious! The wine list is extensive and terrific, the service first rate. The owners were there near the door, meeting and greeting and very congenial, ensuring everyone felt welcomed. I have often dreamed of having an intimate, romantic and friendly place to go like this for special occasions, and now I have a favorite. It won't be long until we return.
