Review content:
A friend recommended Houston Apartment Pros to me. I called and Donna Bess began sending me listings. She told me that if I named her as my agent, she'd give me two airline vouchers after my lease was signed. 6 months and 3-emails later, she e-mails me a link to a travel agency - if I purchase a trip, they'll give me two airline vouchers. I e-mailed back and told her how disappointed I was, and that her failure to be honest and frank with me about her promise for airline vouchers left me no choice but to believe that she deliberately mislead me and misrepresented her intentions. I never got so much as a ""I'm sorry"" e-mail back, and she never attempted to tell her side of the story, or to convince me that I had it all wrong. Clearly - I understood everything perfectly well. I had told her that I'd come back and use her services again when my lease is up in 6 months (a freebie referral for her), but obviously I will not. This company, and specifically Donna Bess, should not be trusted. She tried to upsell me over my initial budget, communicated in an untimely manner when timing was critical to me, and I believe that she outright lied about her free gift to me - just to get my business. Apartment locators are a dime a dozen - so when you get a long list of locators for your next move, be sure that Houston Apartment Pros and Donna Bess aren't on it. Pros: Found an apartment for me Cons: Blatantly deceptive and unapologetic
