Businiess name:  Thalassa Restaurant
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
Both the service and food were fantastic from beginning to end during my recent dinner at Thalassa. The maitre'd was courteous, the sommelier made an excellent wine recommendation, and our waiter Erman(?) was very knowledgeable about the selection of fresh fish which arrived hot and delicious at our table, yet I still have one complaint: whomever is in charge of the music program is an acoustic imbecile. There are no less than four speakers in the dining room, but they don't make a peep. As a result, all of the music comes from the bar area, bounces off walls and dividers, and becomes muted and distorted. Despite the excellent quality of the cuisine and service, they were hard to enjoy because it was like eating with a mosquito buzzing in my ear. As a foodie and former restaurant industry worker, I was impressed, but as a musician, I think that all the senses should work together. Pros: Fresh fish, knowledgeable staff Cons: Too solemn
