What a shame this is. Someone worked very hard to open a restaurant and use their family recipes. There are mixed reviews on Yelp and Citysearch. I dined there and planned to write about it in a newspaper for which I am the restaurant editor despite the lackluster service and the waitresses' inability to answer simple questions about the food. When I called several days later, they STILL would not give me answers to the questions- like ""is the pastry for the cream cheese and guava dessert made from scratch?"" - and said they were not allowed to send me a copy of their menu. Turns out I found the to-go menu I had taken with me when I was there, and could have used it as a reference. But because they repeatedly hung up on me and were extremely difficult, I have decided not to write about them at all. And, of course, I'll never go back as a customer.
