Review content:
Ibiza used to be one of my favorite places in Houston, but on a recent Thursday night, it was not up to its usual standards. It was a nice Thursday evening, so I was looking foward to sitting on the patio with a family member. They did their usual asking if you have a reservation, but then seating you immediately. We had an enjoyable meal, but nothing about either of our dishes was terribly exciting. Then, when we were almost finished a different server came to our table to let us know that our server had left because he was ill and she would be taking care of us. I was not sure I wanted to know that the person serving my meal was sick, but then he came back and offered to box up our leftovers - I didn't take anything home (although I wanted to). Then, when he started to walk away the two servers had a conversation right next to our table with her telling him he needed to go home. I understand that people get sick and still come to work, but there had to be a better and more private way to handle this. I'll may go to Ibiza again, but only if someone else suggests it.
