Businiess name:  Ibiza Food And Wine Bar

Review content:
It annoys me when I read reviews of people saying that they waited a long time for their bar drinks. It's a wine restaurant. Wine goes good with food. They should just get rid of those bar carts. If you want to get drunk..go to the lounge next door. If they choose to take reservations for large parties, they should give that server a max of 3 tables so they can actually give good, attentive service. Most of their servers don't know what the wines taste like because Ibiza isn't going to spend money on letting them try them. Most of their wine talk is BS. The manager Shawn is ignorant. What on the menu, other than the Paella, (which is the worst I've had) is actually Spanish? There grade of meat is lower than select. The food is nothing special. The only thing I like is the homemade cake, which isn't even made in their home. The best part was the '96 Salon Champagne, but I could have had it for less. I was able to compare it to the '90 Salon that I had last year (but you wouldn't find a '90 or '88 at Ibiza). The wine prices aren't that much different from other restaurants. They get their Rombauer Chard for $19 and sell it for $48. Waugh Chard they get for $24 and sell for $51. Caymus Conundrum they get for $18 and sell for $36. Delectus Sacrashe they get for $44 and sell for $157. Plumpjack they get for $55 and sell for $360. Merry Edwards Pinot they get for $30 and sell for $85. I'd rather save the 100%-600% mark-ups and bring my own bottle to a restaurant with good food, have my chef prepare me a good meal to match my wine, pay more for a good dining experience or pay less for a good restaurant . You don't always have to spend more for good food, service, and wine. Will never return. Pros: Some Good Wine Cons: Everything Else
