I took a group class this morning and found out what an intense workout is all about. There were 3 guys and 2 girls with varyin levels of fitness & the workout was designed for our levels. The gym is quite different than your average health club. They don't have any machines and just use free weights and body weights, along with monkey bars, rings & rope climbs. We spent the first 10 minutes warming up & then spent the next 30 minutes learning how to do handstands & how to squat properly with just our own bodyweight. We then moved to the main workout. I have come to realize that I am not as fit as I had originally thought - actually, not even close. My weaknesses have been revealed & my poor all-around fitness has left me beaten, yet hungry, determined and focused for more. Pros: Personlized training, Inexpensive, Fun Cons: No showers, Small changing area
