I don't consider myself a huge bar snob. I've been a bartender and I know the trials of the occupation, however when a patron requests a recommendation for a dry red wine (they were somehow out of wine menus), please do not pour her the most expensive (and absurdly fruity) pinot noir on the menu. The bartenders were not even busy at the time. Additionally, upon ordering tapas, it took the bartender 3 visits to completely take our order (apparently his friends were at the bar and anytime his name was called he ignored us to talk to them) and when the tapas arrived they were bland. The bruschetta was simply stale bread with broiled cherry tomatoes, NO basil or balsamic, raw onions and olive oil. We asked multiple times for more pita bread for our hummus and we were actually denied the third time (""sorry, that's all you get"" when we informed them we would PAY for more, we were once again told, ""sorry""). All in all it was a horrible experience. We finally ordered 2 bottles of a wine I recognized so that we wouldn't have to deal with the horrific customer service. Pros: Decent wine list- as long as you don't listen to bartenders' recommendations Cons: HORRIBLE service and BLAND food
