I had a hernia that had recurred twice after two previous repair attempts by one surgeon. For my third try, I saw Dr. Belsley, who came highly recommended. His pleasant demeanor and professionalism were striking. That in combination with the other recommendations that I had been given on his behalf convinced me that he was the doctor for my third attempt at fixing this annoying and painful problem. He did the operation laparoscopically even though it had been done open the second time and I am in tip-top shape almost one year later. My recovery process was much easier that either of my two previous operations and Dr. Belsley was easily available whenever I had any questions. You hope not to need a surgeon, but when I or any of my friends and family do, we will see or ask for Dr. Belsley.
