I was blown away by this place. I have been to several churrascaria-type restaurants before and was quite nervous about giving Chama Gaucha a try given that is fairly new and I could not find any reviews. It was by far my best experience at a churrascaria and there is nothing negative I can say about my visit. At $35 for dinner, it is also signficantly less expensive than similar establishments in Houston and Dallas while the quality of the food was equal if not better.The service was amazing - extremely attentive without being overbearing. The staff went out of their way accomodate requests (another review mentioned the filet without bacon - I asked for and received the same) and the owner dropped by our table several times. The restaurant was only about 2/3 full on Friday night - no doubt because it's still quite new.
