Review content:
This is a small privately held resturant that has been in business for many years; it is one of the best kept secrets in the area. They provide a comfortable affordable atmosphere with an extensive menu from sandwiches thru full course meals, and include a full bar with various good German beers. Soups, included with dinner, are always hearty and made from scratch, meals use the highest quality meats and fish. Bread baskets and lovely salads are not alacarte....The waitstaff is helpful and efficient. Reminds me of the way dinners were served in the early 60's.....not all prefab and TGIF....although the Friday fish fry can't be beat! Don't come if smoke offends you...this place is friendly and full of relaxation...the old way! Not fancy, just comfortable and an extremely good (high quality) value.
