Review content:
I've been with Amigo for almost 2 years. It's always been a little tedious guessing what their hours are or when they may decide to answer their phones. They've recently decided to jack up my kilowatt hours to around 2x what they've always been (from 13.6 to 25 or 26 cents per kwH). I was very angry when I saw the bill they first did this on, and when they neglected to answer their phones the 3 different times I called, I wrote an email asking why the rates doubled, etc. (including the fact that Reliant and TXU were both currently offering rates for a similar plan at 13.8 cents, therefore making their new price in direct opposition to their slogan ""always cheaper than the big dogs""). Of course, this email was ignored as well, and so I sent a letter with my payment, which was also ignored. Pros: At first, they offered the lowest rates Cons: Doubled rates w/o warning, won't answer emails, letters and only sometimes answer phones, inconvienant hours
