I've been going to IO for about 2 years, following Erin (my favorite hairstylist ever). She does an absolutely terrific job on both color and cut, at a competitive price, and the cut and color is consistently great. People constantly ask where I get my hair done. She and everyone at the salon are friendly without being intrusive. It's one of my few true indulgences. The salon itself is really just a very groovy loft with lots of natural light, high ceilings, exposed wood. It's not a see and be seen kind of place and I like it that way - very low key. Cornish's new facilities are being built and that may change the complexion of the existing neighborhood which is super non-descript - you would never ever know such a great place was there.
