Review content:
My lease at Kently Pointe was anything but comfortable. I too had my car broken into, and received absolutely no help from management, as they were not liable. I only by chance heard, weeks after my car being broken into and several incredibly expensive pieces of my property stolen out of it, that the person had been caught. By then it was too late to recover my property. Funny though, management has no part in helping with the safety of tenants and their property, but if you leave your car idle for more than two weeks, you'll find a neon 11x7 sticker plastered to your driverseat window telling you to move your car within 3 days or they'll tow it. The parking situation there is atrocious, and there's a year wait for a covered parking spot. I own two vehicles, and i do believe i have the right to do so, but i left for a vacation for two weeks, only to come to find out that my car was of some annoyance, being parked in an uncovetted spot minding its own business. The same week, i moved my car to a new spot and took several trips into the office during business hours to speak with management about the issue at different points int he day. 4 times i went to the office to find a note saying ""be back in an hour"" When i finally came in contact with management, i was told "" I was by myself"" by the manager, who then told me my car, in perfect condition mind you, apprered broken down. Such a nuisance and runaround for a non issue. And that does not even touch on the problems with the apartment itself. When i moved in my balcony floor needed replacing. I was told that there was a hole in my balcony and that on a nice day they would have it fixed. The entirety of April and May, and all the beautiful days that passed, I did not have the gaping hole in my balcony replaced, and had to go out of my way to make sure it was done. And of course, icing on the cake of a miserable and incredibly uncomfortable lease, i was charged out the nose for repairs to the apartment, the appliaces that were faulty from the start for one, and the hallway lightswitch that never worked and I just learned to deal with. I would honestly forbid any friend of mine to live in Kently Pointe. there are many places to live in the kent area that will offer better ammenities and wont give you any grief. perks about kently pointe??... being locatied between the major highways makes for an easy get away.
