After searching the net for reviews on salons in Houston I came across this one. I figured since it was ranked as one of the top 200 salons in the country it had to be good. I, like many out there have has some horrific hair stories, so I decided to give Alan Murphy a try. I will say the staff with the exception of the receptionist was very accomadating and friendly. The color specialist did a great job as did the stylist who cut my hair although she didn't really style it the way I wanted. I did bring a picture of the style I wanted and she really didn't come close to the picture. I do think it is ""very"" overpriced. For the color, cut and supposed style, with tip I paid $220.00...pretty pricey!
Pros: friendly staff, excellent products, Aveda Products
