This is the best place for pizza in Portland. The wonderful mural might be even more fun to look at than the hypnotic stream of Burnside traffic, but service or atmosphere is not why this place is here. This is the very best pizza I've had in my life. The crust is thick and crispy, so if that's not your thing I can understand if you prefer others, but few other let you build your own slice. With only a few of your favorite toppings added, even just a single slice will leave you perfectly sated (and I'm no micro-stomach starving hipster). Even if you are in a group and inclined to order a pizza out of habit, I would still advise you all go wild and build your own slices - somehow they seem a bit more substantial, it means there's no compromises, and if you get just 3 toppings it often ends up being cheaper. Other than that, beer is served, which is nice, and pitchers are available, which is great, but I think I'd rather drink a 40oz in the street -- this place is great as somewhere to sit while you consume your fantastic pizza, and little more. Pros: best pizza for the best price, build your own slices Cons: the service seems like it's just there to keep the pizza-cook company
