A couple of months ago I wandered into Alante kind of by accident. I'd been growing out a very bad, too-short haircut that I'd gotten at another salon a few months before; but I just couldn't handle how bad my hair looked anymore. Since Alante is very close to my workplace, I stopped in to see if anyone there could take me the same day and do anything to start to fix my awful cut. I spoke to Young (she's the owner, I think) and told her what the last ""stylist"" did wrong, and asked if she could fix it. She said yes, and I came back on my lunch hour. The mess I was trying to have repaired was so bad that I didn't have high hopes. What I ended up getting was one of the best cuts I've ever had! Young listened to me (exactly what the last ""stylist"" didn't do) and almost completely evened out the horrible layers from my bad cut! I didn't believe it was possible! I went back again a month later and she was able to totally erase the layers without removing any of the length I was trying to re-add! I am thrilled! That, plus the fact that it was the least expensive great haircut I've ever had means that I'll be a client for life!
Pros: Really good cuts, very affordable, takes walk-ins
